Atet Chair

Atet, or the boat of a million years (or eternity), is the boat that Ra would travel on to bring light to the world. At night it would be transformed into Mesektet as his vessel to the underworld. Each night he would defeat Apep, the lord of chaos, and emerge again with the sunrise to shine light on the world. The curved seat and back are hand carved reflections of Ancient Egyptian carving patterns.
