Nebu Kem Coffee Table

Nebu is the ancient Egyptian word for gold, and kem means black. Black represented the fertile soil of the Nile. It also symbolized fertility, new life and resurrection. It was the color of Osiris’s skin, the god of the dead and the underworld. Gold re- presented the esh of the gods and eternity. It provided protection and symbolized the pharoahs status as a god.
