Tepetl —which holds the light and only glows through its onyx diffuser— speaks of contrasts and nature’s most sacred manifestations, such as the deity that inspired its making: Tepeyollotl or “the heart of the mountain”. A careful interplay with the captivity of light creates the effect of boiling lava coming out from Earth’s very core.
