Mehen Side Table

Mehen was a serpent deity that protected Ra on his journey into the netherworld to defeat Apep. Mehen, meaning “the coiled one,” was represented as an immense serpent that stood on Ra’s night bark and shielded him from all evil. Hand shaped solid oak, the legs are fixed around a void of glossy black finished wood or visa versa oxidized oak with a natural oak with gold inlay top. The serpent-like legs of Mehen keep the darkness contained.
